Why book a Creative Seeds Outdoor Play Program?

Our outdoor play programs are great for providers who are looking for inspiration in getting outside, who desire to get children outside more and who want innovative programming for their child care. We also support educators in getting inspired and excited about outdoor play! Let us help you build a robust outdoor play program within your dayhome.

 

What is included in my booking?

In your booking you will be provided with a qualified outdoor early childhood educator who will set up play-based learning stations. Your session will start with a moment of connection which could include yoga, storytime, a game or other activity and then the remainder of the time is spent embracing outdoor play. We will bring approximately 3 play-based activities that may include sensory play, loose parts play, nature based art projects, science experiences and more. We also work alongside educators during the program to support long-term solutions that remove barriers to outdoor play in your programs. At the end of the program we deal with all the mess! We leave your space the way we found it, ensuring you're not left with any of the clean up.

Do providers need to remain in ratio during the program?

Yes, all educators need to remain on premise and in ratio during our programming.

Where are these programs located?

Our Dayhome programs take place in whatever location is most convenient for you! We bring our mobile nature classroom to a park, backyard, or natural space near you. We travel to all communities in Calgary and area. Programs located in Cochrane, Chestermere, Okotoks, or Airdrie, as well as dayhomes located south of Anderson trail will incur a 10$ travel fee per session.

What about inclement weather?

Creatives Seeds in an all weather program. We operate rain or shine and believe that getting kids outside in a variety of weather is important. In the case of extreme or dangerous weather programs will be rescheduled. Extreme weather includes air quality warnings, extreme wind warnings, thunderstorms, and temperatures below -25°C or above 31°C. 

 

What is the cancellation policy?

Creative Seeds cannot provide refunds for programs canceled due to participant illness, vacation, or other unforeseen circumstances. Programs may be rescheduled with 48 hours notice. Please reach out to us with any concerns.
